1:160 Three Passenger Cars and a Minibus 50 Years of Wiking N Gaug
It´s hard to believe that it´s been 50 years since WIKING quietly brought growing appreciation to N gauge. All for good reason, because in the 1960s, model railroaders had come to appreciate the 160-fold miniaturization of the prototypes. More scenery, more track in the same space as H0 railroads. And even those with little space could easily create respectable and fun model railroads. WIKING has been providing the vehicles for this since 1969! Simple, but prototypical of course. The tiny modelers were fixed in a quartet on the common injection molded part - glazing and body were simply put on. The principle proved to be as simple as it was suitable for everyday use. In this way, the models presented themselves in the boxes as attractively as they were clearly arranged. In addition, they were secured against rapid loss. For the anniversary, WIKING has injected the set with VW Beetle 1300, VW Bus, Opel Rekord and Chevrolet in metallic gold. Ambitious WIKING fans will quickly realize that the metallic plastic makes the flow lines recognizable - the colors change impressively. Thus, even on closer inspection, each model is likely to be a one-of-a-kind anniversary model.
