The standing model is a replica of the German Panther of type D, which was developed as a weapon to fight the Russian T-34. The Panther was equipped with a powerful L/70 7.5 cm gun and combined with its top speed of 55 Km/h and its mobility it was a real threat to the T-34. The tank´s equipment also included up to 80 mm slanting armour in places. Between January and September 1943 842 of these tanks were produced.
