1/35th scale kit, US armoured personnel carrier M113 A.P.C.
The M113 is a light armoured personnel carrier. The US development has been used in dozens of different variants in more than fifty states since 1960.
In addition to its original concept as an armoured personnel carrier (APC), it fulfils a wide variety of functions as a fire control vehicle or mobile command post, depending on the variant, and is a weapons carrier as an armoured infantry fighting vehicle, an anti-aircraft tank, a missile fighter tank or a flamethrower tank, among others.
In addition to military users, American SWAT units, fire brigades and sheriffs have also procured the M113 as an operational vehicle. It can be airlifted with the C-130 Hercules and the basic version is parachute-launchable and amphibious.
