The Panhard 178 was a French armoured car of the interwar and World War II period. The first prototypes were built in 1933 and series production was carried out in 1935-1937 and 1940-1944. A total of about 500 vehicles of this type were built. It was powered by a single Panhard ISK 105 hp engine. It was armed with a 25 mm Hotchkiss SA 25 machine gun and a 7.5 mm Reibel machine gun.
