Special features of the sound variants:
In addition to the sound function, only these variants (7510091 and 7520091) have a buffer capacitor and the switchable cab lighting. With the analog variant (7500091), these functions cannot be retrofitted, since a different circuit board is installed in the locomotive. Of course, as always, the analog variant can be equipped with a digital driving decoder.
History of the loco:
- 1977: manufactured as one of the first 250s at LEW Hennigsdorf as 250 007-2 of the DR
- 1992: rebadged as 155 007-8 of the DR
- 1993: leased to the DB
- 1999: in service for DB Cargo
- 2003: in service for Railion Deutschland AG
- 2007: assigned the era VI number: 91 80 6155 007-8 D-DB
- 2009: in service for DB-Schenker Deutschland AG
- 2012: z-position
- 2016: in service for DB-Cargo Deutschland AG
- 2016: decommissioning
- 2016: sold to EBS GmbH on 12.09.2016
- since 08.02.2017: in black livery on the road for EBS GmbH
Before the striking black color scheme, the prototype of our exclusive model was bordeaux red, orient red and traffic red. After more than 45 years, the indestructible 155 007-8 is still on the road throughout Germany, primarily pulling trains for transporting wood, grain, mineral oil, potash salt as well as beets. The locomotive is frequently seen in Bad Schandau, Hamburg, Berlin, Karlsruhe, Ingolstadt and many other places throughout Germany
