Die Baureihe 185.2 ist eine elektrische Dualsystemlokomotive, mit crash-optimierten Lokkasten, von Bombardier Transportation. Sie ist auf beiden in Europa üblichen Wechselspannungssystemen 15 kV/16 2/3 Hz und 25 kV/ 50 Hz einsetzbar.

Die 185 389 wurde 2009 an die DB AG geliefert und hat eine Zulassung für Deutschland und Österreich. Im Zuge einer umfangreichen Kooperation beim Transport von Neuwagen zwischen dem DB-AG Konzern und dem Automobilhersteller Audi erhielt die Lokomotive ein auffälliges Sonderdesign. Marken, Geschmacksmuster und Urheberrechte werden mit Zustimmung des Eigentümers AUDI AG verwendet.
