Design change: Together with DBAG we could adapt the design of our BR 120 in IC design to the official DBAG specifications. At this point many thanks for the cooperation and the information.
Thus, we can now rightfully claim This is how the 120 would have really been on the road in the original.
Overview of the most important changes:
Roof fronts white
red stripe not continuous, but interrupted at the corners
red stripe in the front area lowered
all DB logos adjusted in size and position, also the distances of the red stripe to the DB logos
H0-gauge DC analog, electric loco BR 120 313-2 IC-painting DBAG Ep.VI
The BR 120 was the first three-phase locomotive in mainline service and at the same time the technical basis of the later ICE power cars. The 120 was first handed over to the Deutsche Bundesbahn in 1979 and had its last run on 05.07.2020 as IC 2161 from Stuttgart to Munich.
Unfortunately, the 120 never existed in the classic IC color scheme (white with red stripes).
Exactly this idea we take up and bring exclusively the 120 313-2 in IC color scheme.

Piko 71153 - Electric loco 120 313-2 IC-painting, DBAG, Ep.VI, DC sound
Piko 71154 - Electric locomotive 120 313-2 IC paint scheme, DBAG, Ep.VI, AC sound
Model:
The class 120 from Piko is an absolute success model and was delivered for the first time in 2019. The model impresses with the finest paint scheme and printing, applied grab irons, sharply engraved bogie covers, and filigree metal pantographs. The light change is white/red depending on the direction of travel by means of LEDs. The standard cab lighting and the direction-dependent tail lights can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The heavy model with two traction tires for high tractive effort has a PluX22 digital interface according to NEM 658 and is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible speaker.
The 71153 and 71154 variants are already equipped with an XP 5.1 sound decoder.
Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
