Bombardier´s third-generation TRAXX electric locomotive, known in Germany as the class 186, is popular as an advertising medium.
In 2020, the leasing company Railpool proposed to design a special locomotive on the occasion of ten years of cooperation with the customer RTB-Cargo. A TRAXX locomotive was selected and Railcolor Design developed a full wrap for the machine. The gears symbolize the well-rehearsed cooperation between Railpool and RTB Cargo - a machine that runs like clockwork.
Since August 2020, the 186 423-0 has been in service in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium in this blue-violet livery and, incidentally, has been leased to RTB Cargo since 2015. Interesting detail: the machine was part of the Hear the signal, Berlin! protest train that passed through Berlin in September 2020 to call attention to a fair distribution of Corona aid packages.
