The Special Air Service is a small, highly motorised and well-trained unit for observation, reconnaissance and attack purposes. In the short time since its formation in 1941, the SAS has always been on the move.
Known as the Pink Panther, the Land Rover Series 2A was built some 72 times on behalf of her Queen. Only 20 survived the harsh desert missions of the British Special Air Service (SAS). One of them can be bought at the British military Land Rover specialist P.A. Blanchard & Co for about 65´000 pounds.
