This floor model is a replica of the German Panzer II. The tank was designed as a training tank and produced by MAN in 1934. Due to delays of the Panzer III, the Panzer II was even used as main tank and served mainly during the invasion of Poland in September 1939. 1100 Panzer II tanks were produced until 1940. The chassis of the Panzer II was subsequently used for some self-propelled weapons. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its accuracy of fit as well as its attention to detail.
