Die Mirage 2000N ist ein Allwetterflugzeug das für niedrige Flughöhen und große Geschwindigkeit entwickelt wurde. Es tätigte seinen Erstflug am 3. Februar 1983. Es ist mit einer ASMP Luft-Bodenrakete von 840 kg ausgerüstet, die einen nuklearen Sprengkopf von 300 KT und einer Reichweite von 100 km hat. Nachdem sie im Juli 1988 in Dienst genommen wurde, soll sie die Mirage III E und den Jaguar mit Nuklearkapazität ersetzen.
