The PIKO model of the BR 221 impresses with free-standing, individually attached front handrails and finely engraved bogies. The heavy, die-cast zinc frame, in conjunction with the selected motor with two large flywheel masses, gives the models excellent running characteristics. The PIKO BR 221 has a white/red light change depending on the direction of travel as well as close coupler kinematics on both sides. The model has a PluX22 digital interface.
