Helmuth Erdel flatbed truck with tarpaulin
Finished model with detailed printing
Towards the end of the 1950s, Carl F. W. Borgward produced the Goliath Express 1100 in his Goliath factory in Bremen. Very modern in design, these vehicles were known in the 1950s for their exceptional versatility and power.
The large loading area of the flatbed truck and the maximum payload of around 950 kg provided an ideal basis for transporting a wide variety of loads. To protect the cargo from the weather, the flatbed truck could be equipped ex works with tarp and bows. Our 1957 model is fitted with these features and displays the name of the metalworking company Helmuth Erdel.
In addition, the scale model comes with licence plates and rear-view mirrors for self-assembly.
