Im Mai 2019 erwarb Strukton seine erste elektrische Lokomotive. Eine Lok der ehemaligen Baureihe 1600/1800 der Niederländischen Eisenbahnen (NS). Die damalige Betriebsnummer war 1824. Nach einer gründlichen Überholung und Neulackierung wurde sie auf den Namen Nicole getauft.

Aktuell wird sie regelmäßig für den Transport von Maschinen und Infrastrukturmaterialien zur Unterstützung der Arbeiten auf den niederländischen Gleisen eingesetzt. Ziel von Strukton ist es, die E-Loks mit Batterien auszustatten, damit die sie auf Strecken ohne Oberleitung selbstständig fahren können. Derzeit laufen die Arbeitsplanungen für den Umbau.
